Pure Distilling Ultra-Pure 6 Wash Pack inc. Yeast/Clear/Carbon

The Secret to Commercial-Quality, Crystal Clear Spirits Tired of harsh, off-flavors in your neutral spirits? The Pure Distilling Ultra-Pure 6 Wash Pack is the ultimate three-step fermentation system designed to produce the cleanest, smoothest spirit base possible. Formulated specifically for a 6kg sugar wash, this premium pack eliminates the impurities and fusel oils often associated with standard turbo yeasts, giving you a flawless, commercial-grade neutral spirit ready for your favorite essences or botanicals.

What’s Included in the Pack? This comprehensive kit provides everything you need for a complete, ultra-clean fermentation cycle:

• 1. Ultra-Pure Spirit Yeast & Nutrient: Not just another aggressive turbo yeast. This specialized yeast strain is formulated to ferment smoothly and steadily, minimizing the production of unwanted byproducts and off-flavors while maximizing alcohol yield.
• 2. Crystal Wash Liquid Carbon: Added directly into the fermenter alongside the yeast, this high-grade liquid carbon acts as a sponge. It actively absorbs impurities, odors, and fusel oils during the fermentation process, ensuring a pure wash from day one.
• 3. Crystal Clear (Two-Part Finings): Once fermentation is complete, this professional-grade clarifier works like magic. It rapidly binds to the yeast, carbon, and remaining proteins, dropping them to the bottom of the fermenter. Within 24-48 hours, you are left with a crystal-clear wash that is perfectly prepped for your still.

Why Choose the Ultra-Pure 6 Wash Pack?

• Maximum Purity: Formulated specifically to favor quality over harsh, high-alcohol quantity.
• Produces up to 15% ABV when fermented at 20–26 °C
• Heat tolerant – performs well at temperatures up to 40 °C
• Low odour during fermentation
• Saves Time & Effort: By removing impurities during fermentation, your final spirit will require significantly less filtering later.
• Better Tasting Spirits: The perfect blank canvas. A cleaner wash means your gin, vodka, rum, or whiskey essences will taste exactly as they should.
• Foolproof Process: Designed to work perfectly together in a standard 25L (6.5 Gallon) fermenter with 6kg of white sugar or for best results use 7 kg of dextrose.

Basic Usage Instructions:

1. Clean & sterilise all equipment
2. Prepare 21 L of water at 30 °C
3. Add 6 kg of sugar, or for best results use 7 kg of dextrose
4. Stir thoroughly until all sugars are dissolved
5. Ensure the temperature is correct (refer to packaging), then stir in the Liquid Carbon.
6. Pitch the Ultra-Pure Yeast, stir well, and seal your fermenter.
7. Fit the lid and airlock to the fermenter. If fermentation is vigorous, leave the airlock off for the first two days, then fit it once activity settles
8. Leave wash to ferment for at least 5–7 days. For the cleanest result & maximum output, ensure the temperature stays within 20–26 °C. Will produce good results to 40 °C
9. Measure the wash with a hydrometer
10. If the hydrometer reads higher than 990, fermentation is not complete, stir gently to avoid disturbing the yeast trub at the bottom of the fermenter and check again in two days
11. If the hydrometer reads 990 or lower, and there is no visible activity on the surface of the wash, fermentation is complete.
12. Once fermentation is 100% complete, degas the wash and add the Crystal Clear finings.
13. Wait 24-48 hours for the wash to clear completely before transferring to your boiler.
