Lalvin 71B-1122 Yeast 5g Fruity and Nouveau Styles

Lalvin 71B-1122™ Yeast – 5g

Lalvin 71B-1122™ is a versatile yeast strain developed by INRA Narbonne, France, and widely favored for producing smooth, aromatic wines with fresh fruit character. Known for its ability to metabolize up to 20–40% of malic acid, it naturally softens acidity—making it ideal for young, fruit-forward wines that are ready to enjoy early.

Perfect for crafting red, rosé, or white wines, especially from varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, Riesling, and Chardonnay, 71B-1122™ enhances fruity and floral esters like peach, apricot, and tropical notes. It also helps preserve color stability in light reds and rosés.
