Classic Champagne Muselets & Wire Cages 100 Count

Don't let your hard work go to waste with a popped cork! When bottling highly carbonated beverages, securing your stopper is just as important as the seal itself. Our Premium Champagne Wire Hoods (traditionally known as muselets) are the essential final step for safely bottling your sparkling creations. Packaged in a convenient 100-count bundle, these wire cages are designed to wrap tightly around the bottleneck, ensuring your corks and plastic stoppers stay firmly in place as carbonation pressure builds.

Why Are Wire Hoods Essential? Sparkling wine, bottle-conditioned cider, and highly carbonated beers generate significant internal pressure as they age and carbonate. Without a wire cage to hold it back, this pressure will easily force a cork or plastic finned stopper right out of the bottle—resulting in a messy spill and flat beverages. These wire hoods provide the mechanical strength needed to keep your stoppers seated and your carbonation trapped safely inside until you are ready to pop the bottle.

Key Features & Benefits:

• 🍾 Traditional Muselet Design: Crafted to the classic French standard, featuring a four-leg wire cage and a twisted bottom ring for secure tightening.
• 🛡️ High-Tensile Strength: Made from durable, pliable wire that can withstand the high pressure of naturally carbonated and bottle-conditioned beverages.
• 🔄 Easy to Twist & Secure: Pliable enough to be easily twisted tight by hand or with a wire-twisting tool, forming a tight grip beneath the lip of the bottle.
