The threaded bottom section of your AlcoEngine Reflux or Pot Still inserts directly into the top of this 2" Tri-Clover sight glass. To lock it in place, simply wrap a standard 2" Tri-Clover silicone seal around the join and fasten it down with a standard 2" Tri-Clover clamp. It creates a perfect, secure seal in seconds!
Why You Need This Sight Glass Upgrade
-
Craft Award-Winning Gin (Vapor Infusion) By placing the two stainless steel mesh screens inside the sight glass, you instantly create a highly effective Botanical Basket. Instead of boiling juniper berries and spices directly in the boiler (which can extract harsh or muddy flavors), you place them between the screens. As the hot alcohol vapor passes through, it gently extracts the delicate essential oils, giving you a crisp, aromatic, and commercially smooth craft gin.
-
Purify Your Spirits with Copper Yeast naturally creates foul-tasting sulfur compounds during fermentation. We've included the pure Copper Mesh Scourers because copper chemically reacts with these sulfides and strips them right out of the vapor. Packing the sight glass with this copper mesh guarantees a significantly cleaner, smoother, and better-tasting final spirit without any harsh "off" odors.
-
Visual Distillation Monitoring Stop guessing what's happening inside your column! The 360-degree glass viewing area allows you to actually see the vapor flow and reflux action in real-time. This is crucial for monitoring your run and spotting foaming, "puking," or boil-overs before they push into your condenser and ruin your batch.
-
Mount to Almost Any Boiler Upgrading to professional 2" Tri-Clover gear has never been easier. The included 2" Stainless Steel Bulkhead Adapter is designed to fit snugly into any standard 47mm hole distillation lid (perfect for BrewZilla, RoboBrew, Grainfather, or custom flat lids). Simply tighten it down, and you instantly have a secure 2" Tri-Clover base ready to accept this sight glass kit and your AlcoEngine condenser!
Upgrade your AlcoEngine setup today and start crafting the pure, flavorful spirits you've always wanted to make!
