1kg Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Ascorbic acid (also known as Vitamin C) is a common additive to wine, primarily wines made with fruit and honey. Ascorbic acid helps prevent such wines from turning a dirty brown colour, as they sit in the bottles.
Aside from the colour, Ascorbic acid may also preserve the naturally fruity flavours used in the brewing process.
When properly added before the bottling process, Ascorbic acid does not negatively affect the flavour or texture of the wine.

-Ascorbic acid is an economically effective anti-oxidant
-Reduces the susceptibility of beer to oxidation haze
-Increases the shelf-life of pasteurised and non pasteurised beers
-Prevents “papery” (oxidation) off flavours in the final product
